Mr. Springuel is well known in the real estate community for effectively managing and delivering both small and large-scale projects with complex variables and constraints. His experience has covered a wide variety of project types including architecture, interiors, workplace strategy, master planning, historic preservation, and renovation.
His award-winning architectural work includes the Council on Foreign Relations, Capital One Headquarters Lecture Hall, and Fannie Mae's executive leader centers. In addition to earning accolades these projects are Energy Star and LEED certified. Mr. Springuel prides himself on the effective implementation of sustainable solutions.
His projects have won the approval of the Commission of Fine Arts and National Capital Planning Commission, DC Historic Preservation Review Board, DC's Board of Zoning Adjustments and Zoning Commission and the Alexandria, Arlington & Fairfax County Planning Commissions and Boards of Architectural Review.
As a principal, Mr. Springuel has completed numerous interiors assignments including multiple facilities for Morrison & Foerster and Headquarters development for FDIC, the Federal Reserve, the FBI, the United Unions, the IDB, the Iraq National Council, the Embassy of Mexico, the Exxon Mobil merger, SAP America, GDIT, Discovery Latin America and Arnold & Porter.
Mr. Springuel has been Director & Principal in several award-winning firms in the Washington Metropolitan area. His projects have won many design awards and have been published in numerous publications. He is a native of Belgium and speaks fluent French.
